Lacey, Dunn & Do was established in 2003. Its founding members, Kevin S. Lacey, Barbara E. Dunn, and Chau T. Do, have more than 50 years of combined experience in civil litigation, with emphasis on defense of professional liability cases and disciplinary and administrative proceedings involving lawyers, accountants, realtors, and other professionals.

Lacey, Dunn & Do provides comprehensive services in its representation of professionals. In addition to extensive experience litigating contested cases at both the trial and appellate levels, the firm provides risk management and claim repair services and consultations regarding professional ethics. Members of the firm also participate as faculty in continuing legal education seminars on risk management, civil litigation, legal malpractice, legal ethics, and related topics.

Our litigation philosophy includes early evaluation of the factual and legal issues involved in the matters entrusted to us, and our goal is to determine and achieve a successful result that is both comprehensive and cost effective, consistent with the needs and directions of our clients. Two members of the firm also have worked as professional liability claims professionals, and we believe that experience has provided us with important insights regarding issues of concern to insurers as well as our insured clients.
